Department of Languages


Our New Testament is translated from Greek manuscripts. Learning Greek provides the student an opportunity to gain rich insights and an appreciation of certain aspects of the text which do not translate easily into English. (2 units per quarter)


The Old Testament was written primarily in Hebrew. Learning this language is difficult, yet the benefits are worth the effort, because Hebrew understands and presents truth in a different way than either English or Greek. (2 units per quarter)
