The Law of attraction

The law of attraction. Like attracts like. That is based on what you are thinking and feeling. Your thoughts, feelings, actions must be aligned.

“Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” Mark 11:24

“If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. 6 But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. 7 That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. 8 Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do.” James 1:5-8

Do these two verses and probably more in the Bible have anything to do with what these people call the law of attraction? Is the law of attraction anti-Christian? Many people who use it focus on wealth, health and happiness that is pretty shallow for me, but that doesn’t make it wrong — We need to test it though carefully.

But what does Jesus mean when he says to believe that you have it and you will receive it? When you believe (faith), faith without works is dead. So such genuine believe must necessarily impact the way you think and speak.

Does that lead to thanking God when you pray for a healing?

Nothing new can come into your life until you’re grateful to what you already have.
